Andre The Giant, The Big Show, Minute Bol, Shaq, Yoa Ming...these Global Icons and National Treasures (see what I did there?) are some modern examples of MODERN giants. 
Then throw in Robert Wadlow and John Rogan the two tallest men EVERY officially recorded (8'11 and 8'10 respectively) . Very TALL people indeed...but what about  giants like Goliath from the Bible, Red headed cannibals that terrorized native Americans, mega ogres from Europe, people as tall as tress from Asia, or men LITERALLY the size of MOUNTAINS in Africa??
Every form of media that has ever existed in every culture in every civilization  that has ever lived on this planet has a story or myth about GIANTS who at their shortest were AT LEAST 9'9 .....but where is the proof?
