35. "Only Girls?!" Societal Pressure to Have a Male Child feat. Chinyere Abang @YummyMumLife

"You need to try for a boy." "Who will carry on the family name?" "If you don't produce an heir, your husband will leave you." "Your girls will marry one day and leave you... you need a boy." 

If you're African, chances are that you've heard any of the above said to someone with only female children. In this episode, I interviewed Chinyere Abang of Yummy Mum Life about having three daughters, no son and what her response has been towards anyone who tells her she needs a male child. Chinyere is frank and honest about having some disappointment and getting over it.
