36. My Fair Junkie author Amy Dresner on addiction, recovery and back again.

This week Jamie talks to journalist, author and recovering addict and alcoholic, Amy Dresner.  Amy is the author of the super popular book My Fair Junkie: A Memoir of Getting Dirty and Staying Clean.

They talk about Amy's own addiction story, how she recovered (a few times), the affect on her family, and Jamie also talks about her sister Melissa, who died in 2016 of an accidental opioid prescription overdose.
