One year later we revisit the sights, sounds and craziness that was January 6th, 2021 in Washington DC. And it didn't take Jakestradaumus to predict the Republican Party and their media arm, Fox, would indeed, try to whitewash the events of that day, yet here we are, with exactly that happening.
In this episode we revisit the events of the day, the information that has come to hand since, and the perfect storm that lead to the events of Jan 6th.
But make no mistake, it all started with one man, and one man only, Donald Trump. For years he tore down the belief of Americans in their own elections to appease his own ego should he lose.
Today we go through the history of Trumps lies, the attempts of Republicans to change history, we hear from the Capitol Police and learn that night time comedy hosts are far more attached to reality than many elected officials.
