39. The Lamb of God a sign for you Help! I'm Raising Fatherless Kids

    • Parenting

We all have a story, and God weaves together our stories with lots of pieces, just like a puzzle. He does the same in Scripture concealing Jesus in the Old Testament and revealing Him in the New Testament at just the right time and place.

When we stop to recall the Christmas story, many characters come to mind – Mary and Joseph, shepherds, angels, wise men, animals, and of course, baby Jesus. Other famous components join together to highlight the beauty and majesty of this great narrative: a star, a manger, and the sign.

“This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Luke 2:12 comes to life as Lori shares the story behind this clue God gave the shepherds when Jesus was born.

In this episode, Lori highlights and gives an understanding to the following:

The need for a blood sacrifice as payment for sin
The birthplace of the sacrificial lambs
The birthplace of Jesus and understanding the manger as a sign
