40: Weary, Worn, and Remaining Living Lighter

    • Christianity

Sweet friend, can I share with you what’s on my heart? I wanted to give you a fun, lighthearted, “beach read” episode, but what I have for you is a bit deeper than that. Today we’re talking about remaining close to Jesus in the midst of trials and deciding to take joy. And I’m intentionally saying “take joy” instead of “choose joy.” Why? Because I firmly believe that joy is a gift extended to us by Jesus himself – we just have to receive it. I hope this episode encourages you to abide in Christ and find true rest in him.

In this episode you’ll hear:
📝 A throwback to one of my blog posts from the archives
🎁 Receiving the gift of joy that Jesus extends to us
🌱 Abiding in, staying close to, and finding rest in Christ
