Today I am in conversation with someone whose work inspires me so much even more after this conversation we had. With a gentle and big heart, today I am in conversation with Anesu Mbizvo.

Anesu is medical doctor currently working as a yoga teacher and yoga studio owner in Johannesburg South Africa. She has a wealth of yoga teaching experience and has been teaching vinyasa, hatha, meditation and yin yoga for roughly 6 years.

She is also the proud founder and co-owner of The Nest Space Yoga Studio and Wellness Center, which is built around the ethos of inclusivity- showing her community that yoga is for all bodies regardless of color, ability, size, age, gender or sexual orientation. The studio offers daily yoga and meditation classes as well as holistic therapies such as reiki, reflexology, massage and hypnotherapy to their clients and is the first of its kind in South Africa.

Expanding on all of her past experiences, Anesu also provides talks about a variety of holistic health and employee wellness focused topics to wellness teams and executives in the corporate sector and is a weekly featured guest on the “Wellness Corner” segment of the SAFM radio show, Sound Awake.

In our conversation today we talk about her childhood experience of finding belonging, challenges with identity to finding her own internal validation, life lessons from being part of the survivor S8 experience and her spiritual and entrepreneurial journey.

This is my conversation with Anesu Mbizvo
