Introducing Evan Carter

Evan lives in Atlanta with his wife, Julia, and three daughters, ages nine, seven and four. He has a unique background in both finance and ministry/counseling, which enables him to strike an important balance with IQ and EQ. As a Wealth Advisor and Certified Financial PlannerTM, Evan is always thinking ahead for others. He likes to ask intentional questions to understand the “whys” behind people’s financial goals. Authentic and raw, he digs deeper to deliver a comprehensive outlook and plan—one that’s focused on helping people live a full life with no regrets.

There are two constants throughout Evan’s life—relationships and money! Starting with his paper route at nine years old, he has always worked hard, saved, and invested wisely. He graduated with high honors from Georgia Tech and went on to complete the rigorous qualifications as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional.

However, he also spent eight years serving with the youth ministry of Young Life, graduated with a Masters of Divinity from Columbia Seminary and served as a Chaplain at Grady Hospital. In other words, “trust” is not just another word he talks about; he has been walking alongside families in this capacity for twenty years.

Evan is an avid volunteer with Generous Giving, an Advisory Board member of The Shepherd Center, Treasurer of School Ministries ATL and Morris Brandon PTA. He also helped establish and co-leads the Atlanta Associates Program–a summer leadership program for college students interested in professional, spiritual and community development.

Meet the Host

Caleb Breakey is the founder and CEO of Renown Publishing, an elite team of publishing professionals devoted to revolutionizing wealth transfer by focusing on values—not just valuables. Through the power of storytelling, he helps high-impact families document their story, capture their values, and cultivate familial harmony. His moonshot objective is to empower the next generation of inheritors with a strong sense of identity and purpose, inspiring virtuous acts that leverage trillions for human flourishing. The words Caleb longs to hear at the end of his life were penned hundreds of years before his birth in Numbers 14:24: “But my servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed me fully, I will bring into the land.” He lives in Bellingham (Washington State) with his wife of 15 years, Brittney, and enjoys visits from three mischievous mini huskies and a smiley Shiba Inu.
