50 I Empowering Women To Have Agency Over Their Bodies Because, Why Not?

as a 44-year-old woman, I have spent my life believing that my weight defines me and that I am to trust every medical person who I come into contact with regardless of whether or not They know me or have my best interests at heart. As I learned to prioritize myself, advocate for myself, and love myself in the way that I know how to now, I also understand that a number on a scale doesn't make me who I am and that loving myself means loving every nook and cranny and flaw that I may see or feel. It also has led me to the knowledge and understanding that I am in control of my medical care and anyone I choose to see or trust when it comes to caring for my body. These are things I share vulnerably in this podcast in order that I might empower other women to do the same. When we truly love ourselves and when we learn to trust our intuition, We will find the way to our greatest overall health and wellness.
