Another great goodegg podcast

Kieran always describes something I glossed over. This is a great comic series and his is a great way to reread it.

What a ride!

I can’t believe it’s been so long since I was anxiously waiting for every Wednesday. 52 will stand as one of the all-time best series I’ve had the pleasure of reading (multiple times) in my 30+ years of comics. This podcast is just another reason to dive back into an amazing collection of character stories, mysteries, art (covers and interiors), and an immersion into the DC universe at what I consider to be it’s finest age. I heard about this by “piggy backing” from Journey into Misery, then the Planetary podcast. HIGHLY RECOMMEND all of these! Thanks Kieren, you’re a good egg!

A great memory refresh about a series I'd mostly forgot

I read 52 as it was coming out and I liked it. It was a fun experiment in weekly serialized storytelling. But in the years since it had largely faded from my thoughts and memory and I moved away from reading DC after New 52, rarely even looking back at the issues in my boxes anymore. Listening to this look back reminds me of the fun, interesting story DC built with probably the most successful weekly comic series I've read and how into the mysteries and soap opera of it I was at the time. I'm looking forward to following along on this for a year, one more time.
