    114. Fractional Job Roles: They Worth It? (feat. Marketing Advisor + Musician, John C Pollard)

This week Brit speaks with John C Pollard about the emerging part-time and project-based employment arrangements for leaders, known as Fractional Job Roles.

John C Pollard is a marketing advisor, professional musician, independent recording artist, and dreamer.

He spent most of his 30-year career in a variety of marketing and consulting roles for Fortune 50 companies like SAP and JP Morgan Chase, as well as for agencies and private-equity backed start ups.

John considers himself a life-long learner and has a soft spot for managing high-capacity creative teams. He continues to advise select clients on how to present a clear, consistent, and unique brand to the marketplace while he seeks to inspire fellow dreamers to ignore their inner critic and get after their craft.

Recently, John has doubled down on his musical calling, performing both professionally in a regional band and releasing his own original music. You can find his musical on all streaming platforms under “John C Pollard.” His works are in our show notes.

    112. Sober Living: How to Stop Overdoing It (feat. Expert, Author, Speaker, Duncan Bhaskaran Brown)

Duncan Bhaskaran Brown is a speaker, author and coach helping those overcome over indulgence.

According to his bio, Duncan has done his fair share of over indulgence, strictly speaking he’s drunk more than his fair share of wine and eaten more than his fair share of cake.

Along the way he found himself in some interesting places like on stage with S-Club, a stint as Mayor of his home town and morris dancing in Westminster Abbey.

After 20 years of over-doing it, he cleaned up his act and trained with the Easyway clinic, the world’s most successful stop-smoking service.

Now he spends his time helping people push over-indulgence out of their life.

Our conversation with Duncan included what led him to become an advocate, how his experiences contributed to his habit of overindulgence, and how his approach differs from traditional methods of sobriety.

Plus, we talk brain chemistry, how small small changes can help people get over their habit of over-indulgence, and much more useful bits.

Surprisingly great!

A surprisingly great show w/ original analysis of familiar topics. Like listening to your two smart & funny friends - but better produced and edited.

Enjoyable and enlightening

Engaging and fun. They tackle a pretty wide range of topics but the banter makes it digestible. Good chemistry between the hosts.
