From the Book of Psalms, we can see that the psalmists directed their prayers to God in heaven. The Lord is very real and He will manifest Himself to us. The Gospel of John mentions many times regarding the Lord’s appearings after His resurrection. When the disciples saw Him, they experienced transformation and joy. In all circumstances, if we can see the Lord, our hearts can be at peace, just as David setting the Lord always before him (Ps 16:8), Moses seeing Him who is invisible (Heb 11:27), Stephen fixing His eyes to heaven even in difficult times (Acts 7:55). May we fix our spiritual eyes on the Lord every day.
