PotAdvisor.com was started by two friends in Southern ME, Dan McGarry and Travis Sjurseth. Both have a history of working in the tech space. Dan owns and operates his own web development company, focusing more on backend development, while Travis worked mainly in front-end and marketing throughout his career. Their goal as more states legalize cannabis consumption is to provide a place for new and seasoned cannabis consumers to learn more about ins-and-outs of safe cannabis consumption, including how to consume the various forms of cannabis, finding a nearby dispensary, what questions to ask your budtender (whether for medical or adult rec use), discover new strains, get industry news, and learn more about independent producers within the industry.
