    • Entrepreneurship

It’s a new year, and I know that many of us are working on some brand new goals. The new year sets the stage for our personal growth, but self-doubt often gets in the way of real growth. How can we battle our own self-doubt and the doubts that our clients share with us? What are the secrets to unlocking self-confidence and stopping doubt in their tracks? I have a guest today that will be able to answer all of that and more.

My guest today is Louisa Jewell, MAPP. Louisa is a speaker, author and well-being expert who has facilitated thousands of people towards greater flourishing both at work and in their personal lives. Louisa is the Founder of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association, a graduate of the Master of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) program at the University of Pennsylvania, and the mastermind behind workshops and webinars to organizations in all sectors around the world for over 16 years. Her work has been featured in countless publications such as Forbes, The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Huffington Post, and many, many more. She is a contributing author to the European Handbook of Positive Psychology, Positive Psychology at Work and Positive Psychology News Daily.  To top it all off, she is the author of the best-selling book: Wire Your Brain for Confidence; The Science of Conquering Self-Doubt.

“When you start to practice all the tools in the book, you stop the mind chatter.”

If all of those credentials and publications don’t convince you Louisa knows what she is talking about, then go ahead and give this interview a listen. Today, Louisa is going to share with you all the ways she trains and encourages individuals to grow into the absolute best version of themselves. Combining the best practices of psychology, neurology, and coaching, Louisa will share how her approach encourages self-compassion, our biggest defense against the thoughts that plague us. We as coaches can be the 100% encourager to our clients. Louisa encourages us to try new things and allow ourselves to mess up. When we are self-compassionate, we are stronger, and I know that is a message every coach and every client needs to hear this new year!
