The Sloppy Boys

This band is the best, and they have a rockin pod too. Kinda a groovement thing happening… UPDATE 11/8/24: THESE MICS ARE TOO DANG CRISP! (Not talking about Hanford, his name is spelled Mike FYI). Love the pod/band but I wanted to share my struggle with their juicy mouths and Garrison Keillor tier nostrils…

It’s really funny at times. I came as part of the doughboys extended universe. But then it kind of started to have “drunk dad” vibes. Also they do this mouth noise stuff that’s rough. My office mates want to kill me.

The show has been kind of rudderless since they completed the IBA list. Over the summer it has evolved into stunt drinks and shots you would only do on a dare. That was a pretty rough time. Then it devolved further into endless discussions about Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter, and all the other former Disney kid/industry plants on the Top 40. I like some of that music myself, but I’m never going to try to convince you that Sabrina Carpenter is a serious artist and that her songs were not written like a marvel movie by 20 people. It was a cooler show when it was good cocktails and lifestyle stuff. I hope they get back there.
