Sherri L. Zimmerman aka ‘Sage’ is the Author of Success After Insanity: Healing Hearts of the Mentally ill (Autobio) & Mental Illness and the Psychic Connection. Sherri also teaches the Art & Science of Tarot & Astrology (over 20 years). She is the creator of Metaphysical board games for the current and future generations.
Most of Sherri’s life has been spent in and out of mental hospitals/facilities for a good part of 30 years. In that time, she learned most about how those who struggle with so-called ‘mental illness’ are actually very in tuned with the world of Spirit, gifted with psychic abilities. She helps many navigate between the worlds of both the physical and the spiritual planes of existence, and how to navigate the mental health system that bounds many to an old system designed to keep people sick, in never-ending madness.

Karen was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She has been married to her soulmate for 27 years and counting, and has two sons who she calls her beautiful blessings. Karen is a homesteader at heart and loves gardening, being a chicken mama, and beekeeper. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, researching, traveling, baking, knitting, cycling, yoga, and spending time in nature.
Karen has run the wellness practice, Balanced Wellness Consulting, since 2001. This is where she guides and supports clients desiring to heal themselves naturally using her experience and training as a nurse, craniosacral therapist, nutritionist, Reiki Master, quantum biofeedback specialist, and sound healer, along with meditation and yoga.
She balances her time between Long Island and Costa Rica, where she facilitates workshops and soul-nourishing retreats using her signature program the Happiness Compass©, along with Chakradance® and SoulCollage©. Karen created the Happiness Compass© to be a life-changing online workshop that teaches women how to connect with the wisdom of their Soul for guidance to create a healthy, joy-filled, deeply fulfilling life.
Since healing herself from lupus, Karen has dedicated her life to learning all she can about the marvels of natural healing, energy medicine, and spirituality. She is passionate about helping women heal themselves and teaching them how to listen to their soul for wisdom and lifelong guidance.
