Pt 1/2 Steph was born in Perth, moved to Sydney to complete her doctorate and residency, where she met and married Nic Collins. Before their first wedding anniversary and on the eve of moving from Sydney to Brisbane where Steph was to start a new position, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
