Brothers and sisters, today’s topic of Treasures for the Soul is “The Lord Treasures the New Covenant and Break-Bread Meeting the Most”. How do we know that? First, it’s foretold by the Passover. The Lord was also crucified for us on the day of the Passover. Second, the Lord specifically revealed to Paul, who was not at the last supper, the importance of the break- bread meeting. Third, we break the bread every week in remembrance of the Lord. Fourth, in the break-bread meeting, we have to receive the bread and cup ourselves. Fifth, the Lord said before the last supper that He desires to eat this feast with the disciples. Sixth, the early churches also treasured the break-bread meeting.
