8: Attachment Styles Talk With Rox

    • Mental Health

Hello, I'm so grateful you're here and that our podcast community is growing.

Today we are going to take a deeper look into the different attachment styles. There are 4 main styles of attachment. They are: secure, anxious/preoccupied, fearful avoidant, and dismissive avoidant. We go through what these all mean and how they may look in adult relationships. We discuss possible triggers and behaviors that are meant for protection from fears of abandonment or rejection but often are unhealthily expressed. We also look at what the secures do differently and how they are able to open, communicative, and trusting that their needs will be met.

Be sure to follow up along on @talkwithrox as I will be sharing some questions you can start to ask yourself as you work toward healing your attachment and finding trust in your own voice and ability to meet your needs. Working with a therapist is one of the best and most effective ways of healing your attachment, be sure to check out my website at talkwithrox.com if you are interested in working together and stay up to date on when my Conscious Healing program comes out as it will have an attachment component!

Thank you and Happy Valentine's Day! xx
