(2:35) - Can you talk about metabolic adaption and obese clients. I know metabolic adaptation and reverse dieting has become a hot topic and as a new coach there are times I'm confused about what's the best approach for my clients when getting started. For example I'll have obese clients coming to me with lots of dieting history and reporting low calorie intake but do you think this is more a matter of under reporting and it's safe to take them right into a fat loss phase? I've heard recently that it's less likely that metabolic adaptation is occuring in those with lots of weight to still lose. Do you have any thoughts on this?

(18:25) - Hey Cody! Love the podcast. Can we get Shannen on? Might be cool to hear the perspective of a “fitness spouse” and she seems super cool!

(26:30) - I’ve asked y’all a million questions before and I appreciate the answers! I’m really struggling with depression and food. I know in my mind that I’m over eating and logically I know overeating is keeping me from losing weight. (which I desperately need to lose). Why am I struggling so much?! Tips or advice on depression and food.

(34:40) - Hi! Long time listener and LOVE how easy your pods are to listen to! To preface, I’ve been seriously lifting for 12 years (exercise science major, competed at 21). I’m 33, I was a firefighter and now am going to school for nursing. I went from extremely active plus admittedly overdoing cardio to super sedentary for school. I still do 1-2 hours of steady state cardio a day and lift 4x a week but I’ve already gotten so fluffy :( I have tracked calories for years, so I’ve even bumped them down to 1200! This isn’t even sustainable and I don’t know what else I can do, just accept this season of life? Or do you think my body will adjust?

(40:10) - Because I’m new in my business, how do I figure out what to implement first when there's so much that could be implemented?
