    • Entrepreneurship

Welcome back to the rose bros podcast.
This episode, we are joined by Trent Boehm – retired capital markets executive.
Trent’s career in energy capital markets navigated three turbulent decades where both the energy industry and investment banking sectors endured significant transformations. As a leader in the sales and trading at the FirstEnergy, GMP, and Stifel practices, his career gave him exposure to entrepreneurs and wealth creators in hundreds of companies across dozens of sectors, though his long term focus was oil and gas.
Among his many roles, Trent was a member of the FirstEnergy Capital Executive Committee and participated in over 800 equity financings raising in excess of $30B, establishing a global energy platform with offices in Calgary and London, England.
In addition, he was also Vice Chairman; Head of Energy Sales and Trading at Stifel Financial Corp, and is currently a board member of Western Energy Services Corp.
Trent graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance and is a CFA holder.
We sat down for a smooth cup of rose bros coffee and discussed why it’s the golden era for energy profitability and creative deal making, diversifying an economy, creating value for shareholders & swimming with sharks.
