Great podcast except for one thing...

In the last year or so Zach has become more and more negative and it’s seriously dragging on my enjoyment of the show. If I want snarky comments towards Apple I can look at any comment section anywhere. I really could not care less about zachs motorcycles or space obsession as well. Benjamin is fantastic. I love having the perspective from someone who can code and loves the products but doesn’t feel the need to buy what he doesn’t need.

3 Year Listener

This used to be my favorite Apple Product podcast. It was nice to hear from relatable lay users of Apple products. But I’m considering stop listening this podcast. But honestly, I’ve been having a hard time relating to the host Zac. As someone else said it, looks like his focus is now on Space Explored - which I have no interest. Ben is great, has a genuine interest in Apple and the use of the device, instead of cycling through them for no reason. I feel bad to say this, but it might be time to replace Zac with someone else. I moved on to listen to other Apple related podcasts — AppleInsider has a pretty good one.

Apple news podcast or space podcast?

I unfortunately have to update my five star review. This has always been one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. I’ve been listening for the past 4 years or so. I love the length, the in depth discussion, and Zac and Ben’s great conversations. But for the past half a year or so, Zac Hall has become more and more unbearable to listen to. This space obsession, like good on ya mate, but leave it out. It’s so annoying to have to listen to him rant about space and try half heartedly to tie it into Apple news to make it “relevant”. It’s so annoying. There’s been multiple periods throughout this podcast where Zac is just plain annoying, whether it be flying through Apple products like they’re tic tacs, letting his kids scream in the background (I get it - parenting is hard, but come on) to the poor editing of his mic feed and the feed in general. But this space obsession is just too much. I can hear that even Ben is getting tired of entertaining the space talk, and is probably doing so to maintain a long friendship. But if I have to hear about how For All Mankind is like the second coming of Christ, or how he has poor audio because he’s traveling for a rocket launch, or even just random space trivia I’m going to loose it. Come on Zac, either keep it on topic or leave.
