Apple’s self-service repair surprise, Twitter Blue, macro updates

And Twitter wants Services revenue, but also opens the floodgates for third-party clients to exist and — possibly — thrive.

Subscriber Edition playing ads?

I love the podcast and want to support it, hence why I have a paid subscription…but why do all the episodes still play with ads? Please help!!

MNC3 ,

Paid subscription still gets ads

I paid for the year up front to support the pod because I did like the content but there is no way I would recommend for anyone to pay because you get all the ads regardless so it’s the exact same experience paid or not.

I do hope they recognize this as a problem and rectify it.

Problem with the subscriber edition

The subscriber edition goes on playing blank audio when ad reads happen. This seems like a broken experience. Before I realized what was happening I force quit the podcast app, disconnected and reconnected my AirPods Pro, and restarted my iPhone. Strangely one of these times I actually did start hearing the ad being read. I love the podcast so I paid for the subscription but this is a problem.
