We hear the stigmas that are surrounded around mental health, "you don't have a reason to be depressed, get over it." and we hear the stigmas surrounding sexual abuse, "you are just looking for attention, why are you speaking about it now?" but too little of the time are we bringing a message to eliminate that stigma. Today, we change that, by speaking about my struggles, by speaking about yours, we can turn these stigmatized topics and allow the to be heard.

Episode 4: Hey, Listen To Your Emotions
Too often we ignore how we feel, we think that if bitterness is part of our current emotions, that we need to get over it, we should not think like that. We should listen to what those emotions are telling us and work toward developing new ways of coping. By being intuned with your emotions, you are choosing to be in the moment, you are choosing to deal with those bothersome emotions. Here's my view on this whole subject.

Episode 3: 5 Ways To Reduce Stress
Life can be extremely challenging at times, we might be experiecing moments in which are more stressful than others. By developing healthy ways in which we deal and tackle that stress, we can diminish how that stress affects us througout our lives. Here are 5 ways in which I try to diminsh my stress. Remember, stress is a part of our lives, we can't completely get rid of it, we can only develop ways in which we react to it. Choose to react in a positive form instead of closing yourself out to healthy possibilities.

Episode 2: Your Mental Health Doesn't Matter
I find myself having continous conversations about the importance of mental health. Growing up, I always felt that I wasn't "okay" and eventually, I decided to get help to feel okay, and here we are. The moment we begin to realized that it's okay to not be okay, is the moment we will begin to change the negative views on mental health. Open yourself to oppurtunities to grow and change. Tonight topic is an encouragement piece, why you shouldn't care what others thoughts and opinions of your mental health should be and why seeking treatment, is a rebelious but admiralble act.
