Every Friday we review films that are part of our non-stop festivals. These festivals will cover a treasure trove of topics about film history from famous directors to genres to modern classics and punishment reviews. We are here to dive deep into each film and educate ourselves and you along the way. And what better way to have these discussions than with old friends.
Adam Sherlock and Adam Palcher had a podcast since 2007 named A Damn Movie Podcast with over 300 episodes, in 2019 we decided to rebrand into Deep Dive Film School. Our brotherly love is a huge part of the show and we want to share that with you while we drink, curse, laugh and dissect our love of movies. We do SPOIL in most every episode so please be aware!
Please subscribe and you can email us at deepdivefilmschool@gmail.com or hit us up on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. Enjoy!
*We are not an actual accredited film school, it's just a clever name.

Master Of Disguise | Punishment Review
This week we discuss the truly and offensively bad Dana Carvey vehicle Master of Disguise from the early 2000's. We dive into the ridiculous plot, the lazy joke telling, and the endlessly painful and unwatchable impressions Carvey has in his bag. This is an epic takedown and conversation, enjoy!

Best kept secret on the Internet!!!
A great podcast, interesting, entertaining, have watched countless movies I would have never watched until I heard about them here. I've been listening for over Eight years now, still look forward for every new episode. A Quality production. So much content.
Absolute favorite
I’m so sad to hear that they will no longer be doing this podcast. They suggested movies that I would have never watched like Mother, and The Usual Suspects. They are informative and funny. The two Adams will be missed
One Man Show
One of the hosts is so far up his own a** it’s anybody’s guess why he doesn’t just start his own podcast. He barely lets his cohost get a word in edgewise.
Initially, I found this poor excuse for a podcast when searching for one discussing “Mysterious Skin”. Big mistake! Besides mispronouncing Gregg Araki’s name, the hosts completely missed the whole point of the film (even though one admitted to reading critic reviews prior to recording). 🤦🏾♂️
Mr. Talkative also thinks seeing two of Araki’s films makes him an expert on the director’s style. Nevermind that Araki has directed more than 10 films and a TV series. 🙄 The episode is also full of latent homophobia. Really, you are uncomfortable with the sounds of slurping or the sight of a man enjoying a blowy? I’m sure your opinion wouldn’t be different if it were a woman performing the act. 😒
Whatever! Clearly the movie went over your head. And if you are both too dimwitted and bigoted to grasp the big picture in “Mysterious Skin,” or even understand the relevance of “Midnight Cowboy” (the other film covered in the episode), then I don’t see much point in wasting my time listening to two more unqualified white men shoot the sh*t about a subject they know absolutely nothing about. 👋🏾
