Unfortunately - Dana is tarnished

Dana,

You were literally my biggest role model, until the Chris Stirewalt firing. The fact you never made one mention told me everything I need to know. You and I were both raised in the same part of the country and are conservative, hard working women with strong principles. I couldn’t wait for this book. I believe you could be bigger than Oprah, you are that amazing. That is... until you didn’t even mention someone who it seemed you had such high esteem for. Unless it was all an act. That’s my fear, and it knocked you down several notches. Even if it’s contractual, money, fame. The fact your book was about to be released... none of that is worth your good name. Chris was accurate - his firing was a turning point, and you stayed. #tarnished This is not the network you joined, this is not who I thought you were, you have limited yourself. Chris will be better off and will be seen as a deep intellectual.

Mother’s Day

Dana- I appreciate much of what you have said over the past 20 years. I really try not to get my panties in a bunch over trivial things. I think your podcast on working moms was interesting and I enjoyed much of it.
I believe you could have improved by not using the term “working mothers “. I am sure you are aware that this term is disrespectful to those of us who have either chosen to stay home, or had to stay home due to various circumstances.
We often are the moms that “working moms” rely on for transporting kids, helping when “work” runs late, or when kids are sick. I have done this for over 30 years/ and am now blessed with doing this for my grandchildren and their friends.
My husband and I made this choice- and with this choice has come with choices of not affording to travel the world, have a large house, drive expensive cars, or going to spas. But we appreciate that we have been able to experience so many other things.
So please, just consider that the term you used can be considered disrespectful.
