Guest Dr. Allison Lash is the Medical Director at the Cleveland Animal Protective League.



Join us for a day at the Cleveland Animal Protective League as Allison, a veterinarian, shares her experiences with Alice and Janet. From handling emergencies to assisting with humane investigations, Allison discusses the unpredictable yet fulfilling nature of her job. Dr. Lash has been with the APL for 15 years. She oversees the medical and surgical care of the more than 14,000 animals a year that come to the APL each year for placement or other assistance. More recently, she was integral in opening the Community Pet Clinic at the APL. This clinic provides access to veterinary care to animals owned by people with limited resources.



Dr Lash is on the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association Board of Directors, is Chair of the Shelter Education Committee for the Midwest Veterinary Conference, and teaches the Veterinary and Husbandry portion of the Ohio Humane Agent Training Program.
