Three longtime friends cover each episode of the newest Star Trek series and sometimes- ok often- disagree.
"Disco Home" is an unfiltered look at Star Trek: Discovery, a new Star Trek for a new era of television.
In season 2, Wade brings on two friends unfamiliar to Star Trek, Glen Hall and Sean Perrotta, plus various other guests.

KoE is usually Wade Bowen, James Nolen, and Hugh Crawford. They also do another Star Trek podcast called The Rules of Acquisition about an unsung prequel to modern television, Deep Space Nine.

Such anger!

It’s like these guys don’t even unabashedly love anything with the Star Trek name on it! WHAT THE HELL, GUYS?
A critical perspective on a show that has tried to be everything to everyone and maybe only pleased some?

Glad these guys will cover Discovery

My Trek fandom seems to align with these guys, and they are smart, articulate, and have no qualms about talking about crazy stuff like the moral ramifications of f—ing hos in the holosuites.

Bashing to bash

I tried listening to the first three pods for Season 2. For people who seem to either have no experience watching Trek or one who claims to be expert y’all aren’t even correctly referencing TOS. Spock was always struggling to cross the divide of emotion and logic and every other episode was given some reason to struggle openly (where as the rest of the time it was internal), yes the term Prime Directive was used eventually in TOS, these are some basic premises of ST. Participants in this pod say “I loved this episode” then fall to talking trash about point after point. I mean....dudes why continue this? Why subject yourselves to something you clearly don’t like? It’s not that you have to slavishly love something, but along about the 450th snide reference with appropriate snide vocal tone to “fake prestige television” and along with some pretty glaring basic errors on fairly large and broad foundational aspects of Trek, I just have to say ...just go do something else on something you actually like. I will not be listening to your DS9 pod either because while I love DS9, there’s plenty to diss there as well if you want to just pick things apart.
