Rev. Liz is a gifted orator who consistently elevates with her musings. One never feels “preached to” while listening. Instead, Liz delivers a sermon like she is both traversing a new path and traveling a familiar one. It’s like we skip along beside her through her thoughtful digressions, and end up exactly where we need to be...looking for ways to live better and love better.
Thankful
I am an unordained, untrained lay pastor at a tiny church not far from the Monterey church and am thankful I have found these podcasts. I consider listening to these podcasts part of my eternally ongoing training I need to pastor my little church. Full disclosure: I know Liz and am thankful for the support she has given me over the years.
Church from afar
I listen to the Monterey UCC podcasts from NC and greatly appreciate being able to stay connected to my "home church" in this way. Rev. Liz Goodman is a wise, charismatic, and thought-provoking pastor presiding over a very special place of worship.
