Dr John McGhee from UNSW Art and Design is helping stroke patients at Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital come to terms with their diagnosis using 3D techniques normally employed in the games industry. Doctors say it makes a huge difference not having to explain conventional scan images which are usually difficult for the patient to grasp.
