Savior Complex? Yeah, me too.
Surely you've heard the phrase "savior complex," right? You have an incessant need to fix people. Save them. Fix the situation. Ride in like a white knight. If you can relate to that, this is the episode for you.
We get real, raw, and very vulnerable. Maybe you don't even realize you have this as a problem. Heck, I didn't until a few days ago.
I am not a savior. There is only one and his name is Jesus.
In this episode, we discuss the complexity of living a life called to serve others, and how to avoid tiptoeing into the "savior complex" arena.
What's this look like? How do we do it? How do we rid ourselves of this problem?
Tune in -- it's a good one, trust me.

A Crushed Spirit? Me too. Learn to lament & process your sorrow with God.
In today's episode, we talk about the reality of having a crushed spirit and what lamenting actually means.
Do you know that the Bible actually shows us many examples of men and women who struggled with overwhelming sadness?
Moses asked God to take his life (Numbers 11:10-15).Job cursed the day of his birth (Job 3:1-26).Jonah was angry with God and wanted to die (Jonah 4:3-9).Hanna grieved because her womb remained closed for many years (1 Samuel 1:1-16).Tamara, after her brother raped her, lived a desolate life (2 Samuel 13:1-21).Naomi was filled with bitterness and pain after experiencing multiple hardships (Ruth 1:1-20).Hagar sobbed in the desert as her son was about to die (Genesis 21:15-16).
Trust me, you don't want to miss this episode if you are experiencing overwhelming sadness, deep grief, or a crushed spirit. Let's fix our eyes on Jesus. He heals, restores, and redeems.

BONUS: Spiritual Warfare Take 2
In this bonus episode, we're covering Spiritual Warfare a little bit more, but this time with the help of my pastor's recent sermon.
I couldn't believe my ears when he started preaching on it and there were so many golden nuggets of information that I just felt led to encourage you with as well. However, I'm not trying to rip off the sermon. Instead I want you to go and have a listen for yourself!
Combined with my previous episode on Spiritual Warfare, I think you'll find that you're more than equipped to handle any battle that comes your way. In Jesus name.
Here is a link to the sermon -- highly recommend giving it a listen.
As always, I'd love to connect on Instagram or TikTok. If you have any questions/comments/prayer requests, etc. please don't hesitate to reach out.

Does Spiritual Warfare still happen? What is it? How do I combat it? The Bible is very clear on the subject!
On today's episode, we're deep diving into Spiritual Warfare: what is it, how do you combat it, does it still happen today? So many questions, but the Bible has so many answers. People often like to grace over spiritual warfare as a subject, the principalities, the spiritual realms, but it's absolutely a reality. We are either active or passive participants in it. There's really no in between.
So we go into what the Bible tells us about it, how to prepare ourselves, and what my story with spiritual warfare is. Guaranteed, you have one yourself, and maybe this episode will cause you to see that that's what it was (or is). I want to equip you, prepare you for battle, but fear not because you don't go into this alone. You go with God.
So we put on the armor of God every day (Ephesians 6: 10-17) and we expose the lies and replace them with God's truth. Believe me when I say, this is an episode you don't want to miss. If you're struggling in your faith. If you're in a valley right now. If you find yourself weary and tired. If you feel like you're in a season of loss after loss. I'm here to encourage you to persevere but also to fight the good fight. You can do this.
Give it a listen and if you have any questions/comments/concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'd love to connect over on Instagram or TikTok and would love to hear your thoughts or experiences on spiritual warfare.

We're back! Today we talk about anxiety, surrender, & more!
In today's episode, we approach the topic of anxiety and shed a light on what the Bible has to say about it -- which is actually quite a lot. According to the ADAA (Anxiety & Depression Association of America), almost 19% of the US population suffers from some form of anxiety disorder, but friends, Jesus did not intend for it to be this way. His yoke is easy, and his burden is light. So we cast our cares and our fears onto him.
Not only do I give you some actionable ways that you can conquer your anxiety today, and forever, but I also share my personal story with anxiety. We get real. Raw. Emotional. But you need to know that I've been there. I've experienced it, and I'm here to encourage you as best I can.
Give the episode a listen. Reach out if you have any further questions/comments/concerns. I love connecting with people on Instagram and TikTok, so please don't hesitate.
Please also note that this episode is not ment in any way to replace any medical advice you're currently following. It is simply looking at anxiety from a Biblical perspective, and learning how to apply what's in there to our life. -

Uplifting!
I’m not gonna lie, when I saw that you were doing a podcast I assumed it was going to be about travel. I think I even misread the title as “world” instead of “word”. I have to say though, I was pleasantly surprised by the episodes. I appreciate you vulnerability as you shared your testimony. I love the uplifting content so far. Keep it going!
