A podcast for the admittedly not-so-perfect person of faith
Peace In Imperfection
In the season one finale of A Good Return, Ni'Kesia and Dr. Corey close things out with a bang! After sharing their good returns for the last week of 2020 (3:05), they both share what their favorite episode of the season has been and why (11:30). Diving straight into this week's topic (15:09)—"Peace In Imperfection"—the duo explain how the constant search for perfection has impacted their lives and created a detrimental effect on their relationships with themselves and others.
As the turn of a new year can cause everyone to reflect on all they did and didn't do (and with 2020 being the year that didn't go the way any of us had planned), it's important to remember that what you may view as an imperfection God could have actually made a gift in you to touch those around you.
I'll Pray For You

Afterwards, the two discuss the recent death of Tommy "Tiny" Lister Jr. (8:07) and other great Black actors and celebrities we have lost this year. To bring things back up on a positive note, they then dive into their good return for the week (12:00) and jump directly into this week's topic titled "I'll Pray for You" (14:25) in which they discuss the importance of praying for and with others in the moment. And, why it means so much to have the opportunity to pray for others when they ask.
