I attended this church for 4 years while living in Florida. Ray Cortese and the team always delivered such a powerful and resounding message of the gospel each week. It is an awesome blessing to hear Christ centered preaching and the healing message of His grace. Tune it to it!

When I think of this church, Matthew 23:27 comes to mind. I recently viewed one of their sermons and left a comment on YouTube correcting a deeply flawed statistic that the pastor shared about the rate of desistance in transgender youth. Sadly, my comment was hidden from public view almost immediately and no response was ever given. Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church may present itself as open and welcoming, but they are certainly not open to correction nor welcoming to those who offer an alternative interpretation of scripture. You cannot claim to offer Christ's love to transgender people if you also participate in the spreading of falsehoods about the nature of their personal struggles. As the parent of a transgender teenager, I would certainly not feel welcome there. For anyone who is searching for a church home: beware of churches that cannot tolerate gentle online criticism. Little things like this can tell you a lot about what a church really values.
