Five stars +++

I never thought I would say this but this podcast makes poetry exciting and alive! I have never been interested in poetry but was looking for something to cheer up an ill friend and found this podcast. I cannot praise it enough. Something about having the classic poems read by Mark brings them to life! Listening to contemporary poets read and talk about their own work is equally fascinating. Five stars +++ for this show!

Terrific readings and insightful explorations And it’s fun

This is the best poetry podcast I’ve found. If you are put off by the humid murmurings of so many poets as they offer their poetry out ..not loud, this poet reads the work of others with heart and conviction and then dives in to its methods and meanings.
