(Bonus Episode) A Rude, A Prude, and Banned Books: Antiracist Baby

(Bonus Episode) A Rude, A Prude, and Banned Books: Antiracist Baby

    Hello on this fine Wednesday...

Recently Brown and Easter's lovely (conservative) school district decided to roll out a list of books deemed "inappropriate" for our school-aged children. Brown and Easter have both gone to bat with the librarian and this archaic policy and are now gracing your podcast feeds with out rants. Brown and Easter are not just mothers, not just Robert Stack groupies, they're also educators wanting to create a safe and supportive environment for their students.

They will be discussing one banned book every two weeks. Stay tuned!

Yes, you'll still receive your regular episode on Friday! See you then!

Brown and Easter cover the mysterious and unexplained death of healthy 17-year-old Kurt Sova, as well as the forced separation of John Nellis from his young son and American father. LOVING THIS!

Hilarious! And very entertaining. Brown & Easter have great chemistry, I love their hot takes on the abundance of toxic masculinity that was on display on the 80s/ 90s era unsolved mysteries. It’s just a real fun listen. I get a kick out of the banter about their age difference between the hosts (fellow 1984 gal here) 😂Can’t wait for more!

Finally!

Just found you all after being referred from facebook! Started at the beginning and i am binge listening to catching up! I am a crime junkie and thankfully i have found "my people".

New and fun

Feels like sitting in on a convo between two best friends, and you want to join in on the fun. With only 3 eps this pod already has a great sense of itself, and I think it can only get better from here.
