Scary home companion
Most entertaining. One of my favorites.
Nate Hensley…
I used to work custodial for a school district, very early hours, like the sun’s not out yet for a while early. I was picky with my podcasts/listening materials, as this market of podcasting is incredibly over saturated, and when you gamble with listening to something new and unheard of by yourself, more often than not you end up listening to trash.
Early one summer morning, working in an elementary school by myself, I started listening to the “Night of the Long Knives” saga of A Scary Home Companion. I was terrified and hooked.
The pictures he helped paint in my head of these characters, and longer down the road noticing the DEVELOPMENTS of these characters he created, has to this day been unparalleled.
Nate Hensley belongs in podcasting, and you outta subscribe. Start with the Machinist.
