Steve PDX ,

❤️ this podcast

I’m a TV junkie kid at heart. Grew up watching way too much late 70s and 80s TV first run and reruns. Love that they revisit so many great shows. Would love to hear you dish about Maude. Need you to have me on as a special guest to talk about 80s TV sitcoms.

Just discovered a week ago & just have to say thank you for this treasure of a podcast. The unsolved mysteries episodes bring me such joy- I literally cry with laughter. Also enjoyed Quantum Leap (loves it). Still working my way through it, but definitely recommend.

A Special Presentation !

The show is fantastic, David Crabb is an exceptional story teller, he lends his talents with Jonathan Bradley Welch who is just as fabulous ! They both have wonderful chemistry are very fun and witty with their repartee. Serious moments too, great guests, there is a wonderful casualness with fun and great insight. At the same time more research with references to the time periods that pre date Mr. Crab and Mr Bradley. For example. Bewitched ABC from 1964 to 72 NBC I Dream of Jeannie from 65 to 70 an important detail and fact missed. IDJ created to compete with Samantha and Darwin. Also the context of Rod Sterling’s smoking on early show’s hosting The Twilight Zone. Yes he liked to smoke, but too hosts of many shoes then smoked for advertisement dollars from tobacco brands. Early TV was widespread with Tobacco brand commercials then, as the dangers of smoking was suppressed by these companies. Smoking was everywhere. Commercials for cigarettes were banned on TV, Radio 2 January 71. Keep up the good work fellas but little more history, context, explanation of time period would be great when talking about certain shows you discuss. Alex
