    The Spin Cycle

    The Spin Cycle

Nate Rifkin author of The Standing Meditation

Nate was a lot like so many of those who are struggling with finding their path. After dropping out of college, he had dedicated himself to self-help and pursuing his entrepreneurial dreams. Yet he failed to achieve any of his goals. Worse, he spiraled into debt, drank alcohol every morning, felt lonely, lost, and hated himself.
A few years later – after a brutal bankruptcy and a stint spinning signs on a street corner – Nate had quadrupled his income, married the woman of his dreams, and found happiness and contentment.
What made the difference? Oddly enough, he had discovered an ancient form of meditation that reversed his downward spiral and elevated him to levels of success he never dreamed possible.

    "100 Days" of Depression

    "100 Days" of Depression

Jim "Thunder" Shoopack, EdD Run Over Depression, Founder and Motivational Speaker

For approximately "100 days" between February - May of 2001 (20 years ago), Jim suffered all of the symptoms of depression. It is miraculous that he didn't take his own life.

Since he has dedicated his life to marathons to promote mental health awareness.  Jim started to jog a mile. This slowly became 3-5 miles, which became training for a marathon. He wants to be the "voice for the voiceless" as since approximately 1 in 4 will suffer in silence with a mental health challenge, he wants to do his part to give back.

Jim noticed that 26.2% of the population have suffered from mental health challenges, which is symbolic of the mileage of a marathon. He has completed 21 marathons, and in 2016 completed four marathons in four months. Prior to that, he had completed three marathons in three months. His final goal is to complete 100 marathons, to essentially get back each day that he lost when he didn't know that how he felt (clinically depressed), had a name.
This episode is dedicated to Jim's brother Bob, who took his life in early 2021. Rest in peace Bob!

    Can You Remember...

    Can You Remember...

Pamela Evischi, Founder of Spiritual Springboard, Author, Podcaster, and Speaker was the "girl next door", a model wife and mother, and high school sex-ed teacher, who was caught in the cycle of people-pleasing and ultimately settled, played small, and stayed in her box of religious and close-minded self-control.

Pam was blessed with a loving and healthy family and good life, yet; there was a longing for something more that she kept pushing down.  She was going through the motions and sleepwalking through her life. When she was thirty-three, she had a wake-up call and traded in her everyday, mundane life for an extraordinary and mysterious one.
Over the past 20 years, she has followed her soul's call, which has led her on a mystical, spiritual journey of healing and transformation. As she courageously pursues Truth, slowly, she began to remember who she is, a spiritual being and a student in life school, here to fulfill a special purpose for this time.

Pam shares her experiences and the simple tools to help others connect, awaken, heal, and elevate to the next best version of themselves.

    What is the Gift?

    What is the Gift?

Kat Niambi aka "The Hungry Medium" Spiritual Activist and Author
Kat feels that she was either lucky or that her soul has been around the block a few times and has navigated this mind-body iteration (aka me) to where she is today; a clairaudient spiritualist who’s able to make connections between spirit and the physical world.
As a “spiritual activist”, Kat is using her mediumship to help others find direction, clarity, and focus in their lives. The goal is to "help you help yourself". By tapping into your own power to problem solve and to work towards achieving actionable goals, you’ll feel more empowered to design a life shaped by you and endorsed by the Soul. For many of us, the “gift” of hearing Spirit doesn’t present itself in a way that’s easily recognizable.
Kat says that "We’re not seeking perfection. Instead, we're seeking awareness and understanding".

Nate Dukes ,

I’ll be back for more!

This show has become my new favorite podcast to binge. This is a great space for needed conversations to happen.

But somehow you’re in it

This podcast takes you on a journey. You’re a listener of course but somehow you’re able to tag along for the ride. It’s not your experience but somehow you’re able to relate and then you began to question and now you’re looking within, its transformative. That’s growth and it’s as if we’re able to use A State of Emergence, it’s host and her guest as a model or a guide to emerge from within.
