Came for GOT staying for Lost

Long time listener first time reviewer! I originally started listening to the pod through A Cast of Kings, Joanna’s vocal tone and cadence sounds exactly like my very best friend from high school who I talk to about all thing pop culture, so listening to your podcast is like listening to an old friend.

I’m so excited that you guys are talking about Lost. I started watching Lost from the pilot, it started the fall of my Freshman year of college. I had picked up the fall preview TV Guide (really!) and they had a two page spread which included a picture with Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lily and Dominic Monaghan. As a huge Lord of the Rings fan, and I had huge crush on Monaghan, I knew I had to check this show out. After watching the pilot I called my best friend from back home (the one that sounds like Joanna) and told her she had to watch this show! For the next six years we would stay connected through this show and our thought and listening to podcasts about Lost. I even liked the controversial ending (I think I’m an easy mark because I didn’t mind GOTs ending either).

Can’t wait to hear all your thoughts!!!

Getting lost in the storm

Absolutely love this podcast!

I’ve been listening since season 6 of GoT and always anxiously await for Wednesday to hear what Dave, Neil, and Joanna’s thoughts are on each weeks episode. I love their chemistry and always end up laughing so many times.

I also stuck around for the *off season tour*, and was always excited to see what topic they’d be discussing that week. It actually got me to start watching shows and movies that I wouldn’t have before!

I’m sticking around for the lost rewatch as well! It’s been a long time since I’ve ventured to the island so it’s great to watch it again, accompanied by their thoughts and wonderful banter!

So excited to get Lost!

I was truly obsessed with Lost and all the mysteries when it was on, but I’ve never rewatched. When you three, my favorite podcasters, said you were moving on to Lost, I dutifully watched the pilots to get ready. Two days later, I’m now on season 2, episode 3. This show!! Anyway, will force myself to stop so the podcast can catch up with me. So excited for your nerdiest, smartest, wisest observations. If anyone is capable of dissecting Lost, it’s you guys.

PS I loved when Dave dove head-first into grand overarching theories of the show during the first storm! It’s the storm! Keep the stormiest stuff coming!

Also PS: Jate forever.
