For this 3rd episode of the second season of Syos rendez-vous: the podcast for curious musicians, we welcome Godwin Louis. Musician, saxophone teacher, composer, he travels around the world performing and creating many projects to help promote cross-cultural understanding and introduce thousands to America’s indigenous art form, through public concerts, master classes, and jam sessions. He founds “Experience Ayiti” in 2016, a nonprofit educational multidisciplinary arts organization and in February 2019, his debut album as a leader, Global, was released.

We go on once again with our analysis of music teaching in the world: music school vs. collective learning. We will discuss how music impacts the educational experience of children, the creation of opportunities for civic collaboration, and community development.
