Dr. Marisol Capellan is the CEO of The Capellan Institute, a coaching certification and training & development company. Dr. Capellan has extensive experience creating and leading leadership , diversity, equity & inclusion and coaching programs and trainings for corporations and academia. She is an internationally recognized, award-winning educator and professional & executive certified coach. Dr. Capellan is a former educator from the University of Miami. She is also a TEDx and keynote speaker. As an Afro-Latina, she has witnessed many of the institutional and systemic barriers and biases that Black women face in their career trajectory to leadership roles. Dr. Capellan is redefining the word leadership in her upcoming book, Leadership is a Responsibility, where she highlights the importance of inclusive leadership and the need to increase the representation of women in positions of power.
