A Verse To Remember Xavier Hankins

Many of the things we want so badly in life are not for us and there will come a time where you are shown either at your will or against it…how you cannot continue leading the way with desire only. “So, in this moment I give gratitude, a moment to thank the divine, For steering my soul when my desire crossed the line.”

Think of this verse as a conversation you’ve had with yourself…or need to have with yourself. Why do we search for something that’s meant to flow our way naturally ? When you have to force anything then it’s not really meant for you. Love is meant to be thick and in abundance, never thin. So why settle for anything less?

Transformation is something that happens to all of us whether we’re ready for it or not. It’s better to lean into trusting the process. I’m not saying that it will be easy, sometimes it’s honestly the hardest thing we can do for ourselves. But embracing the process nonetheless, because you know it’s “oh so worth it” on the other side. ✨

In our thoughts, we are able to play out both sides of the narrative in a relationship, often thinking through “what will this be like” or “how will this go”? And it takes us to a place of wonder. ✨

Life is a sacred journey of solitude and self-discovery. And I know that anytime I speak I am always only talking to one person that truly matters…myself. So I must be honest always…in all the ways. It is with this knowing that even when I am alone…I am never lonely ✨
