TEXT - Matthew 11:28-30
Jesus brings a new and glorious morn into which we awaken to find rest for our souls.
1. Give up the burden of control.
We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we wailed, and you did not mourn. Matthew 11:17You are not in control! 2. Give up the burden of sin.
If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. No sin is not beyond forgiveness. 3. Give up the burden of striving.
Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10a You will be restless until you find rest in God. NEXT STEPS
