Standup Comedian, Entertainer, and Producer. I love to create content and interview people. I started Podcasting as a way to address issues in entertainment and lifestyle. Is it not easy being an entertainer and that is where I begin my journey.
Maimi Standup Comedy is a network that I started to help the Miami Standup Scene. I found that the scene was not working together and helping one another. So,I decided to take on the mission to bring everyone together and focus our efforts on engaging with the community. The mission: to be more than standup comedy, to be community.
I hope you enjoy my journey and tune in when you can. Thank you

📒 Show Notes 📒
0:00 - Intro
0:31 - Miami during COVID and its effect on nightlife
9:42 - Dave Portnoy social media rant analyzed
27:22 - Closing predictions on what life will be like in 2021
1️⃣ Address the current numbers with COVID-19 and what life is life in Miami, specifically addressing the nightlife gig workers and their anger
2️⃣ We listen to David Portnoy - the President of @BarStoolSports and his viral rant on social media. I will break down what he is missing in his rant and why it is misleading and confusing people.
3️⃣ Aaron’s prediction that by May 2021, everyone in the country completely forgets about wearing masks and COVID-19 lifestyle changes and goes right back to normal. Now, there will be a small population of people who are hanging on to the COVID-19 lifestyle, but my guess is a majority of people have “the Men in Black neuralyzer effect” and go right back to life pre-COVID
The mission is to speak out about topics that he believes needs to be addressed and talked about.

WTF IS MARINE ANTHROPOLOGY
In this episode, I had the opportunity to interview a Marine Anthropologist and visual storyteller - Shireen Rahimi. @SHIREEN.RAHIMI - LIGHTPALACEPRODUCTIONS.COM
The interview took place in the gallery of Lauren Shapiro [http://laurenshapiroart.com] Professional Artists and my sister. Shireen is currently documenting the process of my sisters work titled - Future Pacific.
Shireen shared with me her path to becoming a Ph.d and visual artist. Her life in Califorina and her time spent in Cuba.
In the end, she shares with me her goals and dreams leading into 2021 with her new production company - Light Palace Productions
Below is her Biography:
DR. SHIREEN RAHIMI is an award-winning filmmaker, photographer, environmental scientist, and National Geographic Explorer. Her work focuses on telling stories about people who live with the ever-changing natural areas of our planet. Using character-driven, poetic realism, she tells stories about the urgency, emotion, and beauty inherent in contemporary human-natural realities. Her work is rooted in complex understandings of dynamic human-natural relationships, which she is able to develop through her training as an environmental scientist and anthropologist. She has documented the lives of those living on the frontlines of environmental disturbance through collaborative, reciprocal partnerships, including algae fishers on the desert coast of northern Chile, coral reef communities in Cuba, and human-lionfish interactions in the Bahamas. Shireen portrays relatable stories about human adaptation in the hope that they will help imagine creative solutions to the environmental disturbances of our current and uncertain, future world.
