About Animal Advocacy is an informative presentation by Brooke USA’s vice chair Katherine Kaneb, detailing the effects of the donkey slaughter in Africa on human livelihoods and animal welfare, and Alfonso Lopez, Brooke USA’s federal lobbying consultant, advising listeners on personal actions that can help ban US sales of “ejiao,” the gelatin derived from donkey hides and used in traditional Chinese medicine.
