    No Days Off

    No Days Off

Overview: Today we going to get into a recurring Hip Hop narrative…that we need to address…”Grindin”...“I'll Sleep when I die”...There's so much pressure for “No Days Off” (Wale)…
    A.  Before this EP, I never really considered the narrative of our music compared to our parents. Just think about it Our folks used to listen to music about enjoying life whether that's partying or love, songs like … “Celebrate…good times, Come on”,                “ We are having a party”, or “happy feelings in the air”...
Whereas our generation has created a society of even when in a club partying…everyone going insane to be the loudest to say “I got 6 Jobs…I don't get tired by Kevin Gates”...
    B.  Thoughts on reasons for the generational shift of everything being about Hustle?
Our parents worked hard, but their music championed life, love, experiences, good vibes
    You Got McDonald’s $$$
What are some ways to have Multiple Streams of Income without much grind?
    1.      E-books
    2.      Podcast
    3.      Subscription Platforms
    4.      Stock Portfolio
    CONCLUSION:
Keeping it Funky with Spunky: (1) Don’t’ forget to celebrate the small wins. (2) Take some time to determine what success looks like for you. Because it can be totally different than what it looks like for others (3) You cannot be everything to everybody all the time, recognize that and be more kind to yourself.

    Importance of Double Checking Documents
    1. What are some common contracts you would consider a big deal?
    2. In Hip Hop, where have we seen not paying attention to the fine print, severely impacting the artist?
    You Got McDonalds Money
What is the best way to avoid the common pitfalls of entering into a contract? There are 6, we will highlight 3 . An article by a Senior Attorney Pace, provides 6 Common Clauses to Consider when Reviewing a Contract. https://legalvision.com.au/contract-reviewing/
Liability. Often some of the most important and high-risk provisions in a business contract. However, what will be an appropriate and acceptable risk level will depend on the commercial circumstances for each deal. Otherwise, you may find yourself responsible for any loss, theft or damage that occurs, regardless of whether you are at fault. Indemnity. Is a promise from one party to compensate the other party for certain losses or damage suffered by the other party during the performance of the contract. Term & Termination. The term of a contract is an important way to identify how long each party must comply with its obligations. Terms matter,  Soulja Boy’s manager wanted 5% of Soulja Boys income FOREVER…
