"If you had told me as a kid that I’d be living in Tennessee one day selling insurance, I would have laughed. Born and raised in Florida, I graduated from Florida State University with a Master of Accountancy before sitting for the CPA exam. I worked in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche and then transitioned into an assistant controller position in manufacturing.
Accounting wasn't for me (“square peg, round hole” comes to mind). From there, I experienced huge successes and spectacular failures in all areas of business as an entrepreneur. I brought those teachable moments and best practices to my present reality as the Managing Partner of Solutionpoint Consulting, LLC.
Solutionpoint started as a way to help the small business owner manage the strategy and execution of growth. We touched on all areas of the business operation, but we quickly saw the need to provide small to mid-sized businesses with more targeted solutions. So, we shifted our focus to the area with the most significant impact on the bottom line and overall success—the employee experience. Today, Solutionpoint Consulting and its sister company, The Benefits Group, help manage the onboarding process for our clients to help them attract and retain the best talent. We offer a suite of benefits, including group health, HR, 401k, culture, and technology that give small to mid-sized businesses the opportunity to compete with Fortune 500-level benefits.
I love what I do—but I love God and my family even more. My ghostwriter wife of 11 years, Jen, and I live near Nolensville with our three homeschooled boys: Porter (8), Wyatt (6), and Jesse (3). We are a loud, joyful bunch who love to hike, have dance parties, swim in the pool, and play cards with Jen’s parents." - Will Brown
