My favorite business podcast!

Girdley, Mills, and Bill do an excellent job breaking down the key elements to look for in acquiring a small business by bringing their years of invaluable wisdom garnered through actually acquiring and running their own businesses all with the perfect amount of wit and humor.

MagnusMaximus ,

Overall good I guess

They do a pretty good job breaking down acquisition opportunities based on strictly publicly available information. At times, they've said some silly things or fundamentally don't understand a business, but haven't we all?

My biggest issue is that the Girdley dude takes up too much of the air time, and Heather in particular needs to speak more as she's the most experienced and qualified of the bunch. Also, the Girdley guy needs to calm down with his obsession over different generations. He over generalizes and pontificates over the dumbest things he attributes to a couple year difference in when one was born. He's a generational astrologist and it's insufferable.

However, I still recommend the podcast, but listener beware.

RoyalSkegee ,

Entertaining and Informative!

Mike, Bill, and I forgot the name of the other guy (haha), are all great. It’s the only podcast I tune into weekly now.

It’s incredibly entertaining because they don’t take themselves too seriously, and it’s very informative. I’m learning things that are helping me prep my company to one day be acquired.

Keep it up gents! All the way from El Paso - the forgotten city of Texas.
