You're an actor because you love it. Because it's fun! Because you can't *not* do it. But have you ever wondered why we're so damn stressed?
My name is Tony Rossi. I'm a mindset coach and guest expert for Backstage, helping actors see things differently with the things that make them stressed and overwhelmed so that you can focus on what matters.
Actor Problems is a self care podcast for actors that does just that.
And remember - we can be messy, actors, and still get the things we want.
Let's go get 'em, actors.
SEASON FINALE - "I wish I weren't like this..."
"I wish I weren't so bad at auditioning."
"I wish I weren't so bad at memorizing."
"I wish I didn't compare so much..."
Or maybe you've said something along the lines of "I wish I weren't so emotionally attached to the outcome of this..."
This week, I'm going to share some vulnerable weaknesses of my own - that involve ugly crying, hiding in my bathroom, and even something about snacking - then share with you why it's good that you're not different than you currently are.

This podcast saved my life - & my career
Actors - creatives - THIS PODCAST IS A MUST. Tony covers topics about the creative world that no one talks about, but MUST. We are all taught the business and techniques and acting - but not about mindset. It’s a tough af business, but we love it, but we need to find balance and harmony to keep loving it and be sane. I always thought there was one path to acting, even with hearing stories of our favorite actors. You hear stories of struggles, of doubt, but this podcast - oh it’s so good and so so helpful. Every podcast hits what you’re thinking and in the end makes you feel safe, heard, and inspired to keep going - or even to just feel your feels. I’m so thankful for this podcast. Mental health is huge and society is still navigating through it. I use to be so depressed about my acting career, but with this podcast, I can navigate things better. This even helps with my YouTube channel. Creatives, actors again this is what you need!!!
I’m not even an actor and I love this podcast!
Tony is such a positive light. So real, so wonderful, so insightful to listen to for ANY creative, not just actors!
Helpful, happy, honest
The reality of being an actor isn’t always beautiful- but this podcast is! Tony’s genuine and honest nature are a salve for the soul. If you are an actor, have ever been an actor, or are just interested in the acting world in general- take a listen. Worth it every time!
