My Go-To Sobriety Boost

Angela’s caring, non-judgemental, non-preachy, no-nonsense attitude is right on point for me. As is her obvious passion for helping people. THANK YOU for putting this podcast out there! Sometimes it’s like you read our minds; it often seems your subject matter is right on- just the message I need that week. Keep up the incredible work you’re going!

Warning: sentimental review (sorry, not sorry)

Angela, I love you. I am such a fan. This podcast is wonderful and has literally become apart of my daily routine. I practically binge listen. You put such a different light on sobriety and have changed my outlook on it entirely. I’ve struggled with alcohol throughout my entire adulthood and have tried the whole sober gig quite a few times and never made it very far. Well, this time I have! The concept of loving myself enough to not drink, wow, it really stuck. I love being present. I love having time for things I truly enjoy. I love having time for my studies, which might I add- my grades have never been better. I love knowing that I’m living my best quality life. You talk about anxiety, addictive personality traits, eating disorders, what we do to ourselves that are signs of self-hatred, isolation, relationship issues, etc., and it’s all been so relatable. Your podcast paints a much bigger picture for me and has made me realize alcohol is actually just a small part of all this. We have to go much deeper than surface level to truly get well, and stay well. You’ve been such a help. I can honestly say I look forward to the rest of my life more than I ever have. So, thank you for that.
